WHAT IS VACUFLEX CONCEPTS TREATMENT?
As the science of reflexology and meridian stimulation becomes more widely accepted in western cultures, so too will the benefits of Vacuflex Concepts become further known. Quantum physics recognises the interplay of energy on numerous levels that combine to form a whole. In this light, the human being is basically a dynamic process and health is the harmony of energy in motion responding to the body’s internal and external environments
Vacuflex Machine treatment
Reflexology boot – 6 minutes at a pressure consistent with the patient’s comfort zone. After fitting feet into the boot, air is removed from boot and gradually creating a vacuum and applying carefully controlled pressure. The boot can replace the reflexology using the thumb as the pressure is more consistent and sensations is less sharp as experienced during manual reflexology treatment.
Assessment – after the boot is removed, for approximately 15 – 30 seconds, and the negative pressure from the boots will leave a “map of colours”. These colours are a measure of the body’s thermal energy and show body heat, or a lack thereof, in the various organs at the time of treatment. Using “Reflexology terminology”, these colours highlight areas of reflex and meridian congestion. The colours that can appear are red, blue, yellow and/or white.
- Colour red: Indicates high acid deposits
- Colour blue: The body is in acute pain of there is
stress in the organs - Colour yellow: Mucous has accumulated in the corresponding organs of the body
- Colour white: Chronic long-term condition, or a candida (yeast) infection
Usually after a few Vacuflex Concepts treatments, colours will start to appear on the reflexes of the feet as a directs result of increased oxygen levels in the body brought about by the treatments. This is a sign that the reflexes and therefore their corresponding organs are coming alive.
Stimulating the acupuncture points along the meridians:
This stage involves the application of silicon suction pads to stimulate the acupuncture points along the meridians.
The healing process: It is quite possible for deep elimination to take place, especially after the first treatment.

Are there any contra-indications?
- Thrombosis: Should a patient arrive with a deep vein thrombosis, treatment should not be given as clinical evidence as the effect of treatment is not yet clear.
- Diabetes: A patient with diabetes should be made aware of the importance of checking blood sugar levels after a treatment as insulin levels can alter
- Surgery: In the case of postoperative patients, it will not be the treatment itself that will be difficult to handle, but the elimination
Treatment
How many sessions do you need?
Client should commit to 10 sessions twice a week and once a week there-after or every second week depending on the client’s health needs and status.
What to expect during your session?
A client will recieve a Reflexology treatment twice a week with two days break in between. A standard Reflexology sequence will by applied by stimulating the Reflexes and meridians on the toes and feat using a thumb technique to apply pressure and stimulate reflexes and meridians. This sequence will be followed to just before the Breast reflex on the planter side. The Vacufles Boot will then be used to apply pressure for 6 minutes to stimulate meridians and reflexes and then a cupping sequence will used on the meridians using the Vacuflex machine. After the cupping sequence is completed the reflexology will be continued by applying cream or oil to the Breast reflex and completed using the thumb technique and end the session by stimulating the Solar Plexus reflex (stimulating the para-sympathetic nervous system) while the client is breathing (inhaling deep breaths and exhaling long breaths).
Duration and cost:
- First treatment session duration is 1.5 hours at R550
- Following treatments are 45 minutes to an hour at R450 per session
